Copynotes: Henry of Marlborough's "Chronicle of Ireland" is appended to that of Hanmer. Edited by Sir James Ware. With new dedication signed by Mathew Manwaring, and the works bound in the following order: Hanmer's Chronicle; Campion's Historie; Spenser's View, without the four leaves of Annotations. Cf. General t.p. is a cancel; earlier t.p. with title, Two histories of Ireland, and Ware's dedication precede the Campion section. Title page to Spenser's A view of the state of Ireland is of the first issue, with ornament rather than reference to Campion's work, and in this copy may be a cancel.
